Born to a human mother and a ghoul father, Perseph’s early life was marked by a strange duality: the warmth of his mother’s love and the cold, monstrous nature of his father.His mother, a compassionate woman, believed that love could tame even the darkest creatures. She shielded Perseph from the truth of his father’s affliction for as long as she could. But the facade shattered one grim night when Perseph, who was barely ten years old, witnessed the gruesome scene of his father consuming his mother.The horror of that night etched itself into Perseph’s mind, shaping the man he would become. The young boy now harbored a deep-seated rage and a thirst for vengeance. His father sought to mold him into a reflection of himself—a beast driven by primal instincts and the need to dominate.Then the years of abuse followed. His father subjected him to torturous training, teaching him the ways of a ghoul, and attempting to strip him of any humanity his mother had instilled. However, he clung to the memories of his mother and her humanity.As he grew older, the conflict within the young man intensified. He despised his father, not just for what he was, but for what he had forced him to become. The turning point came when Perseph realized that the only way to break free from his father’s grip was through the very violence he abhorred.On a night much like the one that had scarred his childhood, he confronted his father. His father taunted him, pushing him to embrace his ghoul nature. But Perseph’s rage, fueled by years of torment and the memory of his mother’s brutal death, gave him the strength he needed.In a savage and cathartic act, he overpowered his father— ultimately consuming him in a symbolic and literal act of defiance. This act of cannibalism was not driven by the hunger his father had tried to instill in him: it was rage.He had avenged his mother, but at a terrible cost. A ghoul by nature and a cannibal by necessity, he disappeared and started anew, grappling with his identity.
